Meena's Window!

"Uh! Why am I this much stuck?", Moaned Meena, throwing away the pencil. She stared at the empty canvas. She then realized her room to be dark. She stared at the closed window and sank in thoughts…

"Every new day, I get new things to do and everytime in the morning, when I open my window I feel that I let them in", said Meena as she was opening the window with a big smile. "That's really great! You've got an optimistic mind", replied Nirmal.

"Meena! Meena!"a voice suddenly came. Meena came back from her thoughts and turned to respond. She found her angry mother shouting, "Don't waste your life by sitting in the dark forever, what's gone is gone. You cannot bring that back". Her mother left the place after those words. Meena realized that Nirmal was no more and she gently opened the window after three years!
